The CCEDC was honored to host country music star Darryl Worley who provide the breakfast business presentation and entertained attendees with a few of his hits songs, “I Miss My Friend” and “Have You Forgotten?” Worley’s business message brought together the music venue with business growth and development, entrepreneurism, and a moving forward message; touching on what business lessons he picked up via his music career - the importance of listening – practice creates continuous improvement– knowing when to lead, when to back-up – valuing the past and embracing the future – the importance of diversifying.
Following Worley, Governor Scott Walker, Wisconsin's 45th and current Governor addressed attendees providing a positive statement on Wisconsin’s business climate and the continuous growth the State has seen. Walker took the opportunity to thank the businesses in attendance for this improvement.
