The 13th Annual Midwest Value Added Ag Conference will be held at The Sheraton Hotel in Madison on Thursday Jan. 27 and Friday Jan. 28, 2011.

River Country Resource Conservation and Development (RC&D) is excited to host another successful conference with over 35 speakers and 40 exhibitors!! This event is geared toward FARMERS and will provide lots of educational and networking opportunities, as well as information on available local farm resources. The conference tracks focus on topics such as Value Chain Management, Food Processing, Adding Value Through Organics, Marketing and Urban Agriculture.

Keynote Joel Salatin of Polyface Farm will speak Thursday morning.

Keynote Stan Gruszynski of USDA Rural Development will speak Friday morning.

There will be a special screening of FRESH the movie, introduced by Joel Salatin, Thursday evening.
