Developing new markets and expanding your business territory was the theme of Chippewa County Economic Development Corporation’s (CCEDC) most recent workshop entitled, “Finding Your National/International Sales Representative.” This ½ day event was held on Wednesday, August 25 at the Chippewa Falls, Chippewa Valley Technical College (CVTC).
During this interactive event Jerry Leth, of the Manufacturers Agents National Association (MANA) an association of interdependent manufacturers and representatives dedicated to educating, protecting and promoting the multi-line, outsourced sales function; shared his first hand experiences regarding the advantages & disadvantages of marketing through a sales rep; how & where to find your sales rep; how to find the right rep for your company; structuring the legal agreement and how to grow the relationship after you secured your representative. MANA’S vision is to be the leader in enhancing successful relationships between representatives and manufacturers.
