Chippewa County Economic Development Corporation (CCEDC) has collaborated with the B2B CFO to host “Financial Fundamentals for Business Owners” workshop to be held on Thursday, October 7, 2010, 11:00am-1:00pm at the Chippewa Valley Innovation Center, 3132 Louis Avenue, Eau Claire.

Understanding your business’ financials is not easy but is essential since the economic environment has become much more unpredictable. Business owners must have a good understanding of their financials for their business to succeed.  Dave Peters with the B2B CFO Group will assist attendees to better understand their financial statements, ratios and analysis, working capital, financing, gross profit vs. contribution margin and projections.  “Understanding your business financials are the key to success,” stated Charlie Walker, President/CEO of CCEDC.  “A good understanding your financial situation will assist in achieving your business’s goals and objectives for growth.”

This and other CCEDC workshops are part of CCEDC’ S Business Retention Program.   This program helps retain business and encourages expansion of existing businesses. The program also places significant emphasis on creating a business environment for stable, successful companies.
