The Wisconsin Department of Commerce is proud to announce the launch of Wisconsin Exporters Online, a new program to increase the visibility of Wisconsin businesses in international markets.  Wisconsin Exporters Online will be a searchable database that will link suppliers in Wisconsin with buyers in other countries.  It is an initiative created by the Wisconsin Department of Commerce in partnership with The Export Yellow Pages™, the official export directory of the U.S. Department of Commerce.  This collaboration of Wisconsin’s exporters, trade service providers and associations, and government agencies will build a comprehensive online resource for Wisconsin’s export community.

Later this month, known Wisconsin exporters will be contacted by e-mail to verify information and their interest in participating in the project.  All Wisconsin exporters and export service providers are eligible for a free online listing.  The free plan offers enough information for a foreign buyer to get in contact with a Wisconsin firm.  Searchable keywords, a company logo, a product catalog, and product descriptions can be added.  The site should be populated and available for searches by mid-October.

For a fee a participant in Wisconsin Exporters Online can be cross-published in the Export Yellow Pages™.  The Enhanced & Cross-Publish option broadens the reach of exporters and includes expanded product descriptions, inclusion of photos, the ability to link to product catalogs, and additional keywords.

The Export Yellow Pages™ is a comprehensive source of products and services offered by over 27,000 U.S. companies that was established as a public-private partnership with the U.S. Department of Commerce to promote U.S. exports through a multi-channel online and print strategy.  The online version of the Export Yellow Pages™ has been a staple resource of the export community for over a decade.  The Export Yellow Pages™ also publishes a print directory, which is distributed through Commerce district offices and is still in demand at U.S. embassies and consulates worldwide.

Wisconsin Exporters Online and the Export Yellow Pages™ are published by Convergent Commerce Group, LLC of Milwaukee.  It created the Florida Export Directory in 2009 and is currently developing other online export solutions for several other states, associations, and trade organizations.
