Chippewa County Economic Development Corporation with the assistance of the UWEC Small Business Development Center (SBDC) hosted a Business Consulting Day on Tuesday, September 22, 2010 at the Chippewa Fall Chippewa Valley Technical College Campus.

Small business owners and entrepreneurs had the opportunity to schedule one-on-one meetings with Jim Mishefske, director of the SBDC to discuss and receive feedback with questions regarding business planning, marketing strategies and business financials.  “Understanding the full scope of what it takes to start and run a small business is overwhelming, stated Mishefske, “ The CCEDC Business Consulting Day is a resource to assist the small business owner and entrepreneur with the tools and resources  to get started with a solid plan and learn what it takes to build a thriving business.”

CCEDC is dedicated to promoting and facilitating economic development. Organization this workshop and other events is part of CCEDC business retention program designed to assist in promoting a strong economic environment which supports businesses and nurtures growth and new investment in the region.
