CCEDC Networking Luncheon in Stanley
Chippewa County Economic Development Corporation (CCEDC) organized a CCEDC Brown Bag Networking Luncheon which was held on Tuesday, February 16 in Stanley.
This invitation only luncheon was hosted by Our Lady of Victory Hospital located at 1120 Pine Street in Stanley. The topic for discussion was the Workforce Resource Rapid Response program. Deb Leslie a Consultant for Workforce Resource was on hand providing the luncheon attendees a brief presentation regarding the program and had a Q & A session. The rapid response program is a great opportunity to get information to workers that have been let go due to downsizing, stated Deb it provides contact and program information that they may not receive otherwise.
Cynthia Eichman, President for Our Lady of Victory Hospital gave a brief overview of the hospitals history and services. Local partnerships are important to Our Lady of Victory Hospital and we are excited to have been able to host this important networking event in Stanley.
Bringing local businesses together for networking is good for business in Chippewa County, stated Charlie Walker, President/CEO for CCEDC. The quality of life is improved locally when more businesses can partner to keep business local.
