Capital Day
Capital Day
Wisconsin is our kind of place!
As Wisconsins gubernatorial candidates, we are really excited about
meeting all of you on the Blue Dog Express, April 13th,
at the Wisconsin Hospital Associations Day at the Capitol!
Thee Hospital Sisters Health System Division (Western Wisconsin) along with its Local Systems (Sacred Heart and St. Josephs Hospitals) again is sponsoring the Blue Dog Express to Madison for the WHAs Annual Advocacy Day at the Capitol.
Along with the three gubernatorial candidates Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle will also be with us. (Confirmed). What a line up! And, keynote speaker Juan Williams, NPR Senior Correspondent and Fox News Commentator besides.
Another highlight of our trip is the annual afternoon meeting at the Capitol with our elected Representatives and Senators representing the Chippewa Valley. If you havent ever participated in this you have really missed something. Its a great way to become informed on state issues and ask your important questions directly - to those who are the decision-makers for our state. Or, if you simply want to listen there is no better venue. It will be highly informative, fun and of great importance given the upcoming fall Wisconsin elections.
Hospital colleagues and members of both Local Systems Boards, Partners, Advisory Council and Friends Board are encouraged to sign-up and participate in this cost-free Day at the Capitol. Everyone is welcome and seats are filling fast. We have 30+ signed up for our capacity for 50 participants. Sign up today, contact Deanne Rubenzer at (717-6148) or e-mail her at
