Chippewa County Economic Development Corporation (CCEDC) is hosting a Forum, "Getting to Know Your Small Business Lender," on February 9, 2011, from 8:00 to 10:00am at the Chippewa Valley Innovation Center in Eau Claire, WI. The Forum will explore ways in which credit can be made more accessible to the small business sector. CCEDC recognizes that small businesses are critical to fueling the nation's economic growth, and their ability to generate new jobs depends, in large part, on access to credit.

The Forum will feature three business lenders consisting of 2 local business bankers and a representative from Wisconsin Business Development.  Charlie Walker, President/CEO of CCEDC will be facilitating the discussions.

Representatives from the small business sector and entrepreneurs are invited to attend the Forum and/or submit questions in advance. CCEDC hopes the forum dialogue will result in workable, effective strategies that will benefit small businesses.
