Momentum West, the regional marketing and economic development organization for the 10 counties that make up West Wisconsin, will hold its second annual meeting on February 3, 2011 at Bill’s Distributing in Menomonie.

The keynote speaker is the WI Secretary of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection Ben Brancel. Momentum West will begin the event with a lunch buffet and also hold a program focusing on the future plan of work for the organization as well as recognition of key regional leaders.

During the annual meeting, Momentum West will unveil its new banner that incorporates the new marketing brand “choosewestwisconsin.com”. The banner will be used at national tradeshows and other marketing and promotional events. This past year, Momentum West has conducted business call trips to other states including Minnesota, Illinois, Georgia and California; a Legislative Forum with state legislators and a Legislative Day in Madison. In addition it assists area businesses involved in international trade and works closely with the region’s county economic development organizations.
