Chippewa County Economic Development Corporations’ (CCEDC) President/CEO Charlie Walker participated in the Chippewa Valley Rally, January 26 in Madison.  The Chippewa Valley Rally is a Chamber Alliance event that had organized teams to participate in legislative visits in Madison.  Walker lead a team consisting of  4 area business leaders; the group met with 9 legislators and had discussions regarding Wisconsin’s budget deficit, education, economic development, infrastructure, freight rail assistance and agriculture.  Following the legislative visits Walker also the opportunity to spend time visiting with our areas local legislators and the newly appointed Governor Scott Walker to discuss economic development efforts and activities.
