CCEDC and the UW-Eau Claire Small Business Development Center (SBDC) have teamed up to a host a Business Consulting Day on Wednesday, May 11, 2011from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.  The event will take place at Chippewa Valley Technical College located at 770 Scheidler Road in Chippewa Falls.

Beginning at 8:00am there will be individual, no-cost, one hour business consulting sessions. During theses confidential individual consulting sessions Jim Mishefske, Director for the SBDC will provide assistance in the areas of business start-up, expansion and management, with a focus on resources to assist entrepreneurs through the steps of starting a business and small business managers with the issues that arise from small business operations.

“Business retention and expansion and recruitment of new businesses are critical issues to CCEDC” states Charlie Walker, President/CEO of CCEDC. “One way to provide the tools for businesses to grow and be successful is by providing these essential individual consulting sessions several times a year throughout the county.”
