MADISON Wisconsin businesses that are successful government contractors will be on hand on April 21 in Eau Claire for a Growth Strategies and Government Contracting Conference. Participants will be able to learn from current contractors what it takes to make the government their customers. This event is meant for any business that is interested in entering or expanding their government sales. They will receive realistic counsel about what it takes to do business with the government.”
“It is crucial for Wisconsin’s economic growth that we find ways to facilitate government contracting to ensure that Wisconsin businesses are getting every opportunity to compete for government contracts,” said Wisconsin Department of Commerce Secretary Paul Jadin. “Supporting growth in small business will continue to create more jobs and opportunities in our state.”
The conference will include information on how state and federal governments purchase equipment and services, updates on their small business programs, a mentoring panel, how to you use teaming and other partnering in government contracting and financial resources for small business. Speakers and panelists include: Northwire, Inc., Command Strategies, LLC, Energy Tech Solutions, Home Town Trolley, Belonger Corporation and Lunda Construction.
The “Growth Strategies and Government Contracting Conference” will take place at the Eau Claire Plaza Hotel and Suites in conjunction with the 8th Annual Women’s Business conference.
