Working with the Department of Defense - Managing Suppliers and Quality

The DoD expects their contractors to perform – to do it right and to deliver on time This workshop will discuss the importance of your supply chains performance.  Topics of discussion will include DOD requirements and expectations, quality, ISO 9000 and AS 9100 controls, receiving inspection requirements and data to collect for performance analysis, cause and corrective action procedures and audits.  Discussed will also be strategies to improve your management of your suppliers.

After you have registered in CCR and have evaluated the potential of the Federal Small business programs, as a manufacturer, you will first probably want to consider working with the DoD or its Primes.  Topics will include, and overview of DoD agencies, how the DoD buys and the requirements and obligations of a DoD supplier.
