Wisconsin Business Development Announces 2011Wisconsin Business Innovation Award
Wisconsin Business Development presented Catalytic Combustion Corporation (Bloomer, WI) with the 2011 Wisconsin Business Development Innovation Award. Presentation of the award will take place at the Friends of Small Business Luncheon to be held December 1, 2011 at the Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center in Madison, WI.
Since 1950, Catalytic Combustion Corp. has been dedicated to improving the environment by developing air pollution control and catalyst technology. Through innovative approaches in the start up of their own line of products and services, they have developed a loyal following and a reputation for quality service.
Anticipation of continued growth prompted the need for the company to expand their fabrication and assembly operations. In 2008, WBD partnered with Peoples State Bank of Bloomer to finance a new facility that will continue to create new employment opportunities in the community. Even during tough economic times, Catalytic Combustion has proven itself by expanding their operations and developing new products.
Catalytic Combustion Corp. has been honored in the past for its products and achievements. In 2008, they were awarded the Governor’s New Product Award receiving first place Best of State for their innovative Heated Catalyst System. They have also been honored by some of their clients, such as PPG Industries and Whirlpool for their overall excellence, quality of service, and outstanding total performance.
