Goodwill Industries of Northwest Wisconsin is in the process of construction for a new location at 2759 S Prairie View Road in the Village of Lake Hallie.  The 24,000 sq/ft retail location is expected to open in mid-May 2012 and is the 24th store in the Goodwill Northwestern territory.  The new location is expected to create 50 new jobs and provide training for up to another 100 people.

The new facility will also host a number of vocational programs and services.  These programs are aimed to assist individuals with disabilities with meaningful employment in Chippewa County.

Goodwill Industries of Northwest Wisconsin, operates 23 stores in 35 Wisconsin counties, and is one of 207 regional non-profit human services organizations nationwide. Other area Goodwill stores are in Eau Claire, Menomonie, and Rice Lake.
