Charlie Walker, President/CEO of Chippewa County Economic Development Corporation (CCEDC) is in Chicago awaiting the decision for the the Mid-America Economic Development Corporation (MAEDC) Annual Economic Development Awards program which CCEDC has been selected as finalists!

Today, December 5, 2011, all winners will be named at the awards presentation that will take place during the 2011 Mid-America Competitiveness Conference & Site Selector Forum in Chicago. Charlie Walker, President/CEO of CCEDC will be attending to accept recognition for the nominations submitted by CCEDC in the categories of Annual Report and Workforce Development.  Both submissions are finalist from entries submitted from ten states in the Midwest.

CCEDC takes pride in being recognized as a finalist for this award program and is excited to learn who the overall winners will be!
