Location
Cornell is located in the northwestern part of Chippewa County. Nestled on the banks of the Chippewa River, the city is a center for area history and year-round recreation. The city has the only remaining pulpwood stacker. Cornell is also a trailhead for the 20-mile Old Abe Trail.
