Owners
Parco Manufacturing was started in 1986 by Paul Rydning. Tim McCormick and Doug Richardson purchased Parco in August 2001. Parco Manufacturing was started in the Chippewa Valley Innovation Center during a time when Parco couldn't afford many things. The Chippewa Valley Innovation Center gave Parco a chance to grow more easily through contacts made networking with businesses used for outsourcing. Richardson commented on the CVIC stating, "The CVIC helped us network with people and to identify manufacturing related help for small businesses."
Business Profile
Parco Manufacturing is a manufacturer of custom vinyl windows and patio doors for replacement and new construction. Current customers include contractors and small retail outlets. Parco currently sells in the Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan and Iowa markets. It takes about three weeks from the time Parco gets an order to the time it reaches the customer. Parco Manufacturing pays close attention to detail, which they feel makes a difference in their products.
Company Goals
The first year was tougher for Parco Manufacturing. It was a time spent "getting their feet wet." Parco started with two employees and one owner and now employs 27 people, and Parco currently boasts over $2.5 million in sales and hopes to reach a sales goal of $5 million within five years. Parco is looking to expand in the area and will look forward to continued growth.
