The Chippewa Valley Technical College, located in both the cities of Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls, serves the technical training needs of Chippewa County with numerous associate degree and vocational education programs.
The Chippewa Valley Center of Lakeland College, located in Chippewa Falls, provides four-year college program degrees to working people in business administration, computer science, and accounting, as well as several master's degree programs.
The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire provides bachelor and masters degree programs. Nursing, teaching, and business administration are the most popular degree programs.
The University of Wisconsin Stout, located in Menomonie, offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs. It is a 2001 recipient of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award
