The UW-Stout Manufacturing Outreach Center (MOC) along with the Chippewa County Economic Development Corporation (CCEDC) has offered a free Innovation Workshop on April 6th at the CCEDC office in Chippewa Falls- the event topic focused on innovating products, markets, processes, business models, and services.
Businesses leaders from throughout the Chippewa Valley attended to hear from Bob Oliver of the UW-Stout MOC information about the Innovation Management System (IMS). Oliver showed attendees how to understand innovation and principles of success, align innovation to their company’s strategy, create and implement a innovation culture, implement a dedicated research system, ignite ideas, and vet potential ideas to develop successful products and services.
CCEDC is happy to be able to partner with the UW-Stout MOC on this and other economic developoment events and make them available to CCEDC clients and investors. Whenever we can share innovative resources to Chippewa Valley companies it only makes the business environment stronger for everyone!
