UW-Stout’s Manufacturing Outreach Center has developed a Manufacturing Advancement Program (MAP) to assist small Wisconsin manufacturers (20 employees or less) improve cost, delivery, and response to their customers, while increasing productivity and capacity without capital investment.
The MAP program provides clients access to Stout’s impressive technical resources, including expertise of its faculty, staff and students and its well-equipped and diversified laboratories- last year’s MOC clients reported, via an objective third party, over $60 million in impacts as a result of our services
Services provided via the MAP program include establishing company goals, observation of your current operations, the MAP team will work with assigned employees to identify areas for improvement that will have a significant impact on lead time, customer service levels and profit, and then develop a detailed plan and assist in implementation
The MAP program has been designed to improve profitability, decrease lead time, gain a competitive advantage, improve quality, and increase utilization of current assets and workforce.
