On September 12, 2016 the Chippewa County Economic Development Corporation (CCEDC) and Regional Business Fund Inc., (RBF Inc.) held an information session to discuss an opportunity to tap into working capital local businesses impacted by the temporary bridge closure on Highway X in Lafeyette may need. With the decreased traffic to the area this summer and heading into the slower winter season, these businesses could be experiencing cash flow shortages that could potentially threaten the existence of their business. CCEDC took this opportunity to introduce business owners to the RBF, Inc. which may be able to help get through this temporary loss. The event was held at The View on Lake Wissota.
