The Chippewa County Economic Development Corporation (CCEDC) held a roundtable networking luncheon with the Office of Business Development on the topic of Reducing the Regulatory Burden. Nancy Mistele, Director for the Office of Business Development provided the presentation; beginning with her experience as an entrepreneur and small business owner – thus creating her passion as an advocate for small businesses to address and reduce needless regulatory burdens that impact business owners. Mistele shared with the attendees that as a liaison between business and government she, “works to troubleshoot business concerns and helps in finding a quick solution”.
Among the 17 attendees, Chris Conard, President of PMI LLC and CCEDC Board Member welcomed the group on behalf of the CCEDC and the Bloomer IDC. Security Financial Bank sponsored and hosted the event which was held at their location in Bloomer on March 7, 2017.
