The Chippewa County Economic Development Corporation (CCEDC) partnered with the Chippewa Falls High School (CFHS) to organize a job fair with local businesses and provide students with an opportunity to explore potential employment options for the summer or post-high school. On March 30, 2017, over 100 CFHS students stopped into the school library over their lunch hour to meet with and discuss job opportunities with representatives from Advanced Laser, Alliance Plastics, Dove Healthcare, Doherty Staffing, 5-Star Plastics, Manpower, Spectrum Industries, TTM Technologies, and Vincent Tool. Representatives from Workforce Resource and the Chippewa County Manufacturing Bootcamp were also on hand to discuss program opportunities.
The CCEDC works with school districts and other youth program leaders to create opportunities to expose youth to career and employment options and training to maintain the excellent workforce and work ethic Chippewa County is proud of. CCEDC would like to thank the businesses that took time to participate and assist in educating and exposing these students to local employment options.
