Over their lunch hour 100+ Chippewa Falls Senior High School (CFSH) students attended a job fair in the student library on March 16.

This 3rd annual event organized by the Chippewa County Economic Development Corporation (CCEDC) has been put together to assist a population of CFSH Seniors/Juniors be more aware of entry level positions available in Chippewa County and to have an opportunity to discuss with business representatives the positions and expectations of employers. Each of the 11 businesses that were represented took the opportunity to answer questions and provided students with information regarding job openings and career options right here in the Chippewa Valley. The Career Explorer Program and Workforce Resource also attended and shared information with the students regarding job readiness programs and the upcoming manufacturing boot camp that is scheduled to begin in June 2018.

The CCEDC thanks our business partners who took the time to participate and share information with the students as well as the Chippewa Falls Senior High School for allowing us to host this well attended event onsite.
