The Chippewa County Economic Development Corporation (CCEDC) partnered with the UW-Stout Manufacturing Outreach Center to host and coordinate the ExporTech Program in Chippewa County- with the first of three sessions beginning on April 4, 2018 at Catalytic Combustion in Bloomer. The ExporTech program is designed to assist small to medium sized companies grow their business internationally- whether they are currently exporting or looking into exporting. ExporTech consists of three sessions on the topics of Export Strategy & Best Practices, Mechanics of Exporting, and Export Growth Plan- companies that participate develop an exporting plan and also are eligible to receive benefits to participate in upcoming trade missions.
The CCEDC is excited to be able to partner with the multitude of presenters that contribute to the program such as the Manufacturing Extension Partnership, Small Business Administration, US Department of Commerce, FedEx, and Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation- as well as being able to offer this exciting program to Chippewa Valley businesses.
The next two ExporTech sessions will held in May and June at Catalytic Combustion in Bloomer.
